I've tried everywhere on the web to decode the VIN for my truck. Every one says it is an invalid code. On top of that the motor registry here in Costa Rica says it is incomplete, although they have registered it to at least 2 owners since new in 1991. This supposedly is a 1991, KB 1600, 4 wheel drive, 4 door pickup. It has a diesel engine - but not the original diesel engine, it is now a 4JB1 according to all info I can find. So, the VIN = JAATFS10HM7XXXXXX The first part - JAA is clear enough - Japan, Isuzu the second part - TFS10 - supposedly body style - obviously a truck, but what else can it tell? The vehicle identification number (VIN) is a unique combination of 17 letters and numbers that is assigned to a vehicle when it is built and stays with it throughout its life. Now the problem - the 9th character is 'H' on my embossed, Isuzu factory mounted plate on the rad support. No doubt about it, it's an 'H'. But this should be a digit only, and according to my calculations of the 'check sum' math, it should be a '3'. 10th character is an 'M' - so means 1991 (at least that checks out) The next character is a 7 - supposedly assembly plant - but which one? The last 6 are numbers - obviously the serial number. This vehicle does not have the stamped numbers on the strip on the lower left of the windshield (or upper left of the dash board). Why, I wonder? Where else might there be a VIN stamped on this truck. – by big pimpin where can i get lowrider (2:12am est thu jul 03 2003) where can i get lowrider for ps2. – by by boygirl wcgh (3:57am est wed jul 23 2003) lowriders are sick and the whole culture should be respected so don't diss cuz u don't know shit n e ways, do u know if they are bring out a pal version for us in australia??? I cannot find info on this either. Sure appreciate your help. I found a new twist on VIN decoding on Isuzus. We all know that the North American standard is 17 characters, of which the 9th is the check digit - to verify that all the other characters are correct. North American VIN decoders, and it would seem North American market vehicles demand that this digit be 1-9 or X. Nothing else will give a valid VIN. ![]() Isuzu Vin Number CheckHowever it appears Asian makers, and possibly South African assemblers use the 9th digit for other purposes. Isuzus assembled in South Africa used D, G and H - but the reason is unknown. My own KB pickup, assembled in Japan for markets other than North America used H - reason unknown. BUT, a Hyundai Technical Bulletin found on the web states that Hyundai Galloper II vehicles assembled in Japan explains a particular use. It uses P to indicate LHD, or R for RHD vehicles. Any further info on the use of this 9th digit anyone? Now, my final objective is to get the stuff downloaded, renamed and moved were it must go, and subtitles downloaded acordinly. Download torrent hannibal serie tv ita. We speak spanish here, so series/movies i see with my wife need to have spanish subtitles (plex media server sometimes gets them fine, but i usually have to use the ones i personally download).
